And i can use the green tick to push it. The below image shows what do i mean by Local Changes. Sadly, this feature does not show up in my git tab. instead i got the below view:

WebDec 17, 2016 · I had the preexisting files in my repo and needed to remove them, but the IDE kept showing my .idea/ files as changed in the Local Changes. I was able to fix this by closing all instances of the IDE, then running `git rm --cached -r .idea`. I did this on each branch that I was working on and pushed those changes up to my repo.
