I mean for instance ian beale has a chippie ,then why open a chippie van 100m away from it then. Johnny alans house is burning down ,what does he do walk away... WebJun 25, 2024 · Considering the vast range, diversity and quality of its TV and radio programming, it seems unfair to judge the BBC solely on a soap. Eastenders is crap, but that's the nature of the format. Regardless of network, soaps have never had high production values or aspired to be quality drama.
